Neovasc offers pericardial tissue processing, vascular product development, design and manufacturing solutions to our customers. We have extensive experience in the areas of:
- Development of vascular device products including catheter-based devices and engineered tissue heart valves.
- Development and manufacture of custom sterile pericardial tissue, meeting the mechanical and shape requirements of our customers.
- Fabrication of prototype vascular devices for in-vitro and in-vivo testing including precision assembly and sewing.
- Materials testing and design verification and validation.
- Pilot and commercial manufacture of tissue-based and catheter-based medical devices - including materials sourcing, assembly, sterilization, packaging and QC activities.

Neovasc has a comprehensive R&D laboratory and team, and our 14,000 square-foot facility includes state-of-the-art ISO Class 7,6, and 5 cleanrooms and equipment suitable for manufacturing a wide range of tissue, catheter and other medical devices. We source pericardial tissue from bovine (including GBR1), equine and porcine sources to meet the specific needs of our customers.
Our operating divisions are certified to ISO 13485:2003, the international quality management system for medical device manufacturing. We have successfully passed all required audits by regulators including the US-FDA and European notified bodies.
We are located just 10 minutes from the Vancouver International Airport and a 3-hour drive from Seattle Washington, USA.
